Where Every Bottle Holds a Legend
At StoryFlask, we don't just craft decanters—we bottle stories. Each uniquely shaped vessel is designed to preserve not just spirits, but the moments that matter most.
The Night That Changed Everything
In the amber glow of The Last Drop—a pub where time seemed to slow with each sip—our founder Alistair Reed witnessed something that would redefine what a whisky vessel could be.
An elderly gentleman tenderly poured the last of his 40-year-old single malt, a whisky older than his marriage, into a perfectly ordinary crystal decanter.
The whisky held a lifetime of stories: his wedding toast, the birth of his daughter, quiet victories and shared secrets. Yet its container was utterly forgettable—identical to thousands in bars around the world.
A Simple Realization
"We honor our most precious memories with liquid amber, yet house them in vessels without character. What if every bottle could hold a story as unique as the spirit within?"
That night, StoryFlask was born from a cocktail napkin sketch. Not just a design, but a philosophy: every memory deserves a vessel as extraordinary as the moment it represents.
Our Mission
Transform containers into story-worthy vessels that honor the narratives they hold.
Our Promise
Create heirlooms that preserve not just spirits, but the stories that give them meaning.
The First Sketch
The original sketch inspired by Scottish oak trees—symbolizing deep roots, branching histories, and lasting legacies.
Our Guiding Principles
Three pillars that shape every StoryFlask creation
Story First, Form Follows
Every design begins with narrative—whether inspired by Celtic legends, personal journeys, or natural wonders. The story shapes the vessel, never the reverse.
The Artisan's Touch
We collaborate with master craftspeople whose hands translate stories into glass and clay. Slight variations aren't flaws—they're signatures of human artistry.
Designed for Generations
We create heirlooms meant to age gracefully alongside the stories they hold. Timeless, not trendy—these vessels are built for the long narrative.
Three principles, one purpose: to give your memories vessels worthy of their weight in story.
